Reports

reports by the IBE project

The Infrastructure Beyond Extractivism (IBE) Project publishes reports on the topics of Indigenous jurisdiction, extractive industry, and the politics of infrastructure. These reports draw on interdisciplinary research approaches and are intended for a range of audiences within and beyond academia (including social movements, communities, and advocacy organizations). These reports aim to critically investigate the justifications used by state and corporate actors to violate the jurisdiction and consent of Indigenous peoples (historically and into the present) in the name of resource extraction, infrastructure development, and/or the green transition.

You can learn more about IBE’s reports below or you can visit our Research Blog, which features shorter pieces written by researchers associated with the project (including senior scholars, early-career researchers, and graduate students).
